  NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE

GOVERNING BODY OF

THE CITY OF HAMLIN, TEXAS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A SPECIAL CALLED MEETING OF THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE ABOVE-NAMED CITY WILL BE HELD ON THE 5th DAY OF AUGUST, AT 5:45 P.M. IN THE CITY HALL CONFERENCE ROOM AT 634 NW 2nd, HAMLIN, JONES COUNTY, TEXAS AT WHICH TIME THE FOLLOWING SUBJECTS WILL BE DISCUSSED:

AGENDA

I. Call Meeting to order, Invocation and Pledges.

II. Roll Call

III.  ACTION ITEMS

1.      Take appropriate action on the minutes from the previous Regular Meeting on July 21, 2025.

2.      Consider and take any necessary action on Resolution 25-005, a Resolution OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HAMLIN, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING PROFESSIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER SELECTION FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT-MITIGATION (CDBG-MIT) RESILIENT COMMUNITIES PROGRAM THROUGH THE TEXAS GENERAL LAND OFFICE (GLO).

3.      Budget Workshop.

 I, the undersigned authority, do certify that the above named notice Meeting of the Governing          Body of the above named City of Hamlin is a true and correct copy of said Notice and that I posted a true and correct of said Notice on the bulletin board in the Police Department and on the front door of City Hall of said City of Hamlin, Texas, a place convenient and readily accessible to the general public at all times and said Notice was posted on August 1, 2025, at 5:00 PM and remained posted continuously for at least 72 hours preceding the scheduled time of said meeting.
