Hamlin Municipal Development District

Hamlin is a community that continually seeks ways to enrich the lives of others by involving all stakeholders in sharing their dreams, skills, leadership qualities, and talents in making Hamlin a great place to call home.

The Municipal Development District seeks to improve the quality of life in Hamlin by collaborating with the City of Hamlin, our community members, and business partners in the following areas:

  • Business Development and Job Creation

  • Affordable Housing

  • Sound Infrastructure (water, sewer, roads, broadband connectivity)

  • Diverse and Varied Amenities, such as access to high-quality educational opportunities, health and wellness, parks, and community-wide events

MDD Agendas & Minutes

The Board is appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council. The current board is comprised of President-Amanda Spalding, VP-Dan Byerly, Secretary-Jacob Cox, Members: Ronald Crouch and Billy Bob Reynolds. The Board meets monthly at City Hall.
