NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE
GOVERNING BODY OF
THE CITY OF HAMLIN, TEXAS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A REGULAR CALLED MEETING OF THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE ABOVE-NAMED CITY WILL BE HELD ON THE 15th DAY OF JUNE, 2026, AT 6:00 P.M. IN THE HAMLIN INDEPENDENT COLLEGIATE SCHOOL DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, 250 SW AVENUE F, HAMLIN, JONES COUNTY, TEXAS AT WHICH TIME THE FOLLOWING SUBJECTS WILL BE DISCUSSED:
AGENDA
I. Call Meeting to order, Invocation and Pledges.
II. Roll Call
III. Open Forum-Person who sign in between 5:30 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. will be allowed not more than five minutes each to speak to the Council.
*General comments from visitors who have signed in to address the Council.
*Citizens Comments and Receipt of Petitions (At this time, anyone may speak on any matter other than personnel matters or matters under litigation for a length of time not to exceed five (5) minutes. (No council/board discussion or action can take place on any matter until such matter has been placed on an agenda and posted in accordance with the law).
V. ACTION ITEMS
1. Take appropriate action on the minutes from the previous Regular Meeting on May 18, 2026.
2. Consider and take any necessary action on appointment of Mayor Pro-Tem.
3. Discuss changing residential speed limits to 20 mph.
4. Consider and take any necessary action on Texas Health Benefits Renewal due June 30, 2026.
5. Consider and take any necessary action to adopt Resolution No. 26-006 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ADOPTING A WATER CONSERVATION PLAN FOR THE CITY OF HAMLIN.
6. Consider and take any necessary action TWDB-WSIG Application Filing and Authorized Representative Resolution.
7. Consider and take any necessary action on fire truck grant.
8. Discussion regarding houses in Hamlin that need to be demolished.
9. Discussion on budget development timeline.

I, the undersigned authority, do certify that the above named notice Meeting of the Governing Body of the above named City of Hamlin is a true and correct copy of said Notice and that I posted a true and correct of said Notice on the bulletin board in the Police Department and on the front door of City Hall of said City of Hamlin, Texas, a place convenient and readily accessible to the general public at all times and said Notice was posted on June 9th, 2026, at 4:00 PM and remained posted continuously for at least 72 hours preceding the scheduled time of said meeting.
